I have been back 4 times now and love it there. The only thing I don’t like is the so called zoo on the river walk. I quit going to zoos a long time ago after visiting Guangzhou in China to specially see a Giant Panda and a Red Panda. It was terrible as the poor animals had about a 60′ by 60′ enclosure and just laid there and had nothing to do. I am not a fan of zoos for this reason and this is the most pathetic excuse to house animals I have seen since and I have traveled all over the earth. They are housed along the trail so you really can’t escape seeing them. It should be banned. I’m not sure why any animal rights activists haven’t done anything about this. Other than that Orizaba is a beautiful fun city to visit.
