The US and MX both have ‘strategic Sectors, which need workers with skills. Work with Trump to create a legal path for MX laborers to go to MX technical colleges to develop skills needed in both countries. That should give them a priority to return to either the US or stay in MX for higher paid jobs.
The days of illegal immigration requiring millions of investments in housing and social services in small cities and towns in US will be over under the new US administration. IT is unsustainable when it could be win-win.

The plan will fail in that Mexico’s legal system is incapable of prosecuting financial crimes. In addition, prosecutors’ investigations are easily manipulated by outside sources and that phenomenon will only become more prevalent when Mexico begins to elect their federal judges rather than appoint them based upon merit. Mexico simply does not have a legal system capable of enforcing treaties and protecting the rights of businesses.

She can attempt to do whatever she wants, the problem with her plan is, even if it’s successful, Mexico will still be a poor country on a per capita basis. Divide the GDP by the population and you’ll get the GDP per capita which won’t look so impressive anymore!

Not a word about agricultural policies that could support small family and community farms to gain food self-sufficiency for Mexico, as well as providing work for Mexicans who labor in the fields in the United States who are about to be deported. I’d like to see this added to Plan Mexico.

Made in Mexico should be the #1 goal. So many countries have outsourced to China and have lost their way. It doesn’t pay in the end to sell out your country like many others have to, including the USA. If China was to stop sending goods to North America, Mexico, Canada and the USA will certainly suffer. The populations are addicted to cheap throw away commodities. Hopefully, Mexico will lead the way.
