What a typical American comment. How many tourists have been hurt or killed by “cartel” violence compared to random daily gun deaths and mass shootings in the US? The US is not that desirable as a destination with the xenophobia and anti-everything attitudes and there are better alternatives.

Most of the least is better than least of the least. Mexico could easily be #4 with the elimination of cartel fears. My guess in that in 3 years the USA will gain back all that has been lost. Not sure why that will be the case, but maybe someone else can help explain why? And then all the Canadians that are pissed off at Mr. Orange will begin to go back to Florida and Arizona.
