Our Saturday opinion pieces are on a separate section of the site from our news coverage, and are not ‘news’ pieces, nor are they framed as reporting. Sarah has written a weekend opinion column for Mexico News Daily for a number of years, but has at no point has she ever formed part of our news coverage.

Personally, I worry more for the things that ‘both sides’ agree on, like foreign entanglements and propping up genocidal states. Trump has lost a lot of his true believers who wanted to get rid of the bogeymen he campaigned against, and not their nice neighbors and colleagues. And end the wars. (Spoilers not necessary.) I doubt many soy farmers would vote for him again.
I haven’t seen much pushback for the recent maritime murders/“kinetic actions” near Caracas to support the War On Drugs tm. Or in support of the Nobel Laureate who has asked US and Israel for an attack on Venezuela to bring peace and freedom. It’s a big deal and perhaps will turn into a hot war. Even world war. Let’s hope not.

In reply to Norse Hombre. I totally agree with you, Norse Hombre. MND reports many different types of articles of importance and interest. Editorial comments are clearly identified. Even in Sarah's article she is only describing what is going on, albeit with a little bit of style. Political news needs to be included with social, economic and sports news.
