A lot was going on in Mexico, Texas, and the US during the 1800s. The map changed quite a lot during that century.

It’s amazing to think that nations would invade other countries to collect debts.

If the spirit moves you, could you do a piece on the flow of imports and their distribution within Mexico during the same period? The official supply chain to the northern reaches of Mexico must have been slow and inefficient, and controlling bootleggers must have tied up loads of resources. It would make for interesting reading.
