Good point. Everyone is biased…cognitively, socially, and culturally.

That being said, Francois was expressing opinions about the interview and resisting dogmas and disinformation. Nothing wrong with this. I would concede that the original comment is a bit diminished by not mentioning the need to combat ALL dogma, disinformation, and bias…whether from the Right, Left, or Center.

So the original comment DOES add value by allowing us to explore and unpack these themes.

Ms Atwood brings forth some great points to ponder but they won’t be properly discussed in a world where free speech is systematically being restricted. The COVID show and “climate change” censorship are perfect examples.

Thank you, Ann Marie Jackson, for this fine report on a timely conversation of great importance. An iconic Canadian thinker/writer interviewed by a very eminent and credible American world-affairs journalist, at his “home” of San Miguel, Mexico. How I hope for such intelligent conversations to frequently happen in all important spheres of activity throughout our three countries in the coming years. Intellectual resistance to the dogmas and disinformation of the right has to shape up everywhere it can.
