Having recently eaten at one of Oliveira’s restaurants, I am not surprised by his drop in ratings. The meal we had at Manta in Cabo was no where near a Michelin starred restaurant présentation…sadly.

It is appropriate that Pujol gas dropped out of the 50 best .We were there December 2025 and the bread was stale, they forgot to serve the special small tacos for one particular dish and by the time they delivered them the food was cold. Pretty much every dish served during the multiple course meal was at best mediocre.
In my opinion, Rosetta still stands out and remains consistently superb.

How does a restaurant go from being ranked 24 to suddenly being ranked 51 in the course of one year? It sounds like there is a story here that’s not being told?
