As an F1 fan and Checo supporter I am excited for his return to motorsports with Cadillac. Mexico/Mexicans should be proud to have a native born driver in the most prestigious and at the highest level of automobile racing. I couldn’t care less about his clothing sponsor, but I do attend 2-3 North American Grands Prix each year and hope to see continued coverage of Checo’s comeback in a Mexican based publication. Pato O’Ward in Indycar, and all Mexican athletes should also be covered in some type of sports column once per week or at least regularly.

F1 racing is a prestigious world wide sport. I’m glad to see a Mexican competing at that level.
