In reply to Gary Martin. I am not sure I agree with that statement Gary. Ford has been in Mexico since 1925, over a hundred years and way before any NAFTA or USMCA. GM since 1935 and Stellantis is the youngest or origen of 1968. What my research shows is there have been several major companies that have moved in the last decade such as Spotify, Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railroad and Thomas Reuters. However, I did not find any major car companies. There were some companies listed as considering the move, however the only one I could find is auto related named Magna for auto parts.

Donnie blowing hot air again. Now in his second term, he can go full tilt at causing massive havoc not just in the US „sphere of influence“, but anywhere else that offers him the chance to grab the headlines and flatter his insatiable manchild ego.

Businesses are fortunately forced take longterm decisions and need to rely on stable governments willing to invest in education and developing their talent pools.
Mexico and Canada are doing a better job at rising to this challenge than the US, whose 2-party system with its geriatric or sycophantic leaders is a recipe for decline.

OK, it is good that the Ambassador and even the Secretary of State acknowledge what Mexico is doing north of the border. What is the US doing to curtail the demand and to stop exports of guns? Mexico and Canada will carry on with or without the US.

Trump is a buffoon. He says things just to hear himself speak. The only thing that will make America great again is elimination of the 2 Party system and an infusion of young politicians who understand today’s world. All the silver haired white dudes don’t have any idea how to lead and are nostalgic for a bygone generation where wealth and privilege allowed them to not get their hands dirty, where racism was accepted, where money meant they didn’t have to play by the rules, and avoiding service to their Country was their right – but everyone else should fight and die. Military service should be a prerequisite for the office of President and age limits should be in place. Hell even GM had a mandatory retirement age of 65. Additionally, like Mexico, the US could benefit from a female President as well.
