Thanks for the exquisite article on Tonala. I have visited the town many times and have always looked at it as a giant artisan market place where you can find just about anything. Your article added an entire new dimension to it. On my next visit I will look at Tonala in a new and different way!

What a great description of Tonola!! I live south of Guadalajara, on Lake Chapala, and prefer Tonola to any other shopping experience in Guadalajara.

People always laugh when I say what we ride, as we’ve been on really long journeys and they don’t expect the answer, but Dora (after the Explorer) is a Honda 190XR. Pretty basic to some, I know, but to us, she’s the absolute best!!!
