I have visited the town many times and have always looked at it as a giant artisan market place where you can find just about anything. Your article added an entire new dimension to it. On my next visit I will look at Tonala in a new and different way!

It captures the unique feelings the town and its residents inspire. It was a great pleasure to read

I’m so taken with it! We’re heading into Guadalajara tomorrow for a few days of Christmas cheer, and we’re planing a stop to look at a couch I’ve fallen in love with! I can’t wait for another day of further exploration!! Thanks for reading!!!

I live south of Guadalajara, on Lake Chapala, and prefer Tonola to any other shopping experience in Guadalajara.

That is such a great compliment, Guillermo, as that’s exactly what I hope people get out of reading my work! Truly, thank you! People always laugh when I say what we ride, as we’ve been on really long journeys and they don’t expect the answer, but Dora (after the Explorer) is a Honda 190XR. Pretty basic to some, I know, but to us, she’s the absolute best!!!

Thank you!

The TY is not only for the beautifully written words, but, I was bike rider in the US before I moved here permanently, and I have been thinking about buying one here. I live on the coast and all the roads are curvy. 😁 Now I want another one very badly.

What bike do you guys ride??
